“Did you know it is wild blueberry season again?” Well it is! “Do you remember my last delivery of wild blueberries?” My mom makes a mean Blueberry Pie so I am pretty sure you’ll want to read this post?
How was your 4th of July Holiday? This year I decided not to run a race and I am ok with that decision since it was another warm day! Hot and humid I might add with storms in the forecast.
Instead we enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at the farm. It was not only relaxing listening to the wind rustle in the trees but much cooler in the country vs. in town.
What did you have Easter Morning? I can hardly believe it was one week ago today. This Sunday morning was like most others, morning devotions, some quite time, and than several dynamic stretches before I headed out for my run. As usual, I rushed to get ready for church getting there in the nick of time. Seems like no matter how much time I have to get ready for church, we almost always are running late.
I get it, asparagus soup is not all that exciting compared to a cheesy pasta dish, a chocolate treat, or even a fat juicy burger, (sorry no burger as of yet)! But since I am getting so much flack for not sharing my asparagus soup recipe I promised to blog about weeks ago, I thought I should get busy before I get banned from our next runners group gathering.
Happy Friday! Or whatever day it is based on when you’re reading this. Friday during lent season many families, whether they are Catholic, Lutheran, Baptist, etc, possibly attend several fish fries throughout they’re neighborhood up until Easter. In fact, I grew up never missing the Cedar Mills Fish Fry as a kid.
