Five Day Smoothie vs 7 Day Healthy Cleanse, Delicious & Decadent New Smoothies, Cleanse Friendly Sweet Potato Noodles, Gabe’s One Year Anniversary Shoe!

Last week I completed another successful round of a 5 Day Reset. During my reset, I had a friend reach out and ask me “how does the 5 Day Reset differ from the 7 Day Healthy Cleanse?”

Such A GREAT question!

First off, one is definitley not better than the other, but one is definitely a little more mentally challenging, at least for most.

Here is a summary in case you are contemplating one over the other.

5 Day Reset Vs 7 Day Healthy Cleanse

5 DAY RESET:

  • No Grains
  • No Dairy
  • No Nuts Including Non-Dairy Beverages like almond & cashew milk
  • No Nut Butters (Sun Butter Allowed ~ Unsweetened)
  • No Sugar
  • No Processed Food
  • No Legumes
  • No Caffeine (green tea allowed)
  • LEAN PROTEIN SOURCES ALLOWED
  • THESE SUPPLEMENTS are recommended to facilitate your reset but NOT mandatory!
Don’t like eggs, add protein of choice!

The best part is sweet potatoes and squash are allowed for both the 5 Day Reset and the 7 Day Healthy Cleanse! YEAH! This was is one of my favorite cleanse friendly meals!

7 DAY HEALTHY CLENSE:

  • No Grains
  • No Dairy
  • No Nuts Including Non-Dairy Beverages
  • No Nut Butters or Sun Butter
  • No Sugar
  • No Processed Foods
  • No Legumes
  • No Caffeine (green tea allowed)
  • NO LEAN PROTEIN (Lean Protein Sources are allowed in 5 Day Reset)
  • THESE SUPPLEMENTS are recommended to facilitate the your reset but not mandatory.

So if you look at the above two lists, you’ll notice the main difference is there is lean protein sources allowed in the 5 Day Reset. In both cases, I highly recommend THE PROVE IT CHALLENGE after you complete either the reset or cleanse. You’ll be amazed how much different you’ll feel.

In the 7 Day Healthy Cleanse, it is encouraged to also eliminate protein for 7 days to give your body a break from digesting these foods. Remember it’s not about being perfect, but more about doing something that’s good for your body. And trust me, you’ll fall in love with smoothies!

Like I earlier, one is necessarily NOT better than the other. Because of my own personal obligations at this time, I decided the 5 Day Reset was a better option last week. Besides, since my husband chose not to participate this round, a 5 Day reset is less mentally challenging, especially on the weekend when one is enjoying an adult beverage and our favorite summer time pasta dish, and the other (ME) is not? .
