Does anyone else just feel better after getting away even if it’s just for 24 hours? Trust me, it was long over due!

Anniversary Flowers from the Market!

After 6 months of COVID isolation in Hutchinson, I was more than ready to head out dodge to celebrate Labor Day weekend and our Anniversary! In this post I chatted about how my husband definitley knows my love language.

One word…..DELICIOUS

This year we revisited a couple farmer’s markets, found a great farm to table restaurant Saturday Night, I ran along Summit Ave the next morning, and last but not least, we enjoyed a lovely brunch before heading back home. It was a phenomenal little get away!

Lovely Morning for a run along Summit Ave!

If you’re looking for a beautiful and unique place to stay in St. Paul, I highly recommend The Celeste Hotel. It’s a newly renovated nunnery which is beautiful, quiet, and the location is great too.

Paused for a photo next to a HUGE tree on our walk

My husband and I enjoyed a nice walk along the river after we checked in. I was thrilled to discover I was also close to Summit Ave which is part of the Twin Cities Marathon Course. It made for a beautiful and safe Sunday morning run. I throughly enjoyed running in the new scenery! So refreshing!

Happy 11 Years to US

I love this photo. Here’s to many more adventures in the coming years!
