No Bake Cashew Protein Bites, Turquoise Pumpkin Trend, My top Immune Tips

These no-bake protein bites are the perfect treat anytime and they are especially great to have on hand if you’re trying to cut back on sugar!

Sugar is just one factor that wrecks havoc on our immune systems and this is the time of year we are bombarded with more treats than our bodies can handle.

  • First there is the candy holiday ~ Halloween
  • than Pie Holiday ~Thanksgiving
  • next Cookie Holiday ~ Christmas
  • finally the Booze Holiday ~ New Years

So maybe we ought to call it the sugar poisoning season vs the cold and flu season? In any case, it’s why I LOVE making my own healthy treats at home.

These are Deliciously Easy to Whip Up!

Oh and besides, limiting your sugar and alcohol, I through together a few other immune building tips!

Here’s 5 HEALTHY HABITS to improve your immune system: 

  1. Hydrate More ~ drink lots of water and bonus points if you add in electrolytes. My personal fave is the Hydrate from Shaklee.
  2. Exercise Daily ~ more bonus points if you take it outside ☀️
  3. Quality Sleep ~ if you struggle with sleep, grab my favorite sleep product, Dream Serene. You’ll sleep like a baby + it’s SAFE!

So lets mades some yummy healthy treats ok! These protein bites are quick, easy, delicious, and a healthy anytime snack. I actually shared these as an option for your Halloween Treat for your ghosts and goblins this year.

I use my crispy cashews but feel free to use raw unfrosted ones.

Did you know if you have a turquoise pumpkin outside your front door it means you are handing out healthy treats. Its a fairly new tread that I think is pretty cool! Have you heard of it?
In any case, Halloween has come and gone but these treats are here to stay! They have a decent amount of protein to satisfy any craving. Slightly sweetened with dates and raw honey. All ages LOVE them I promise! 

I love using dates for natural sweetness

I used my favorite vegan & gluten free pumpkin turmeric protein shake mix but vanilla will work too. Also feel free to add in any spices you like!

Roll into balls and ENJOY!

NO BAKE CASHEW PROTEIN BITES

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1¼ cups raw sprouted cashews
  • 1 scoop Protein powder 
  • 1 scoop collagen9
  • ¼ teaspoon pink sea salt
  • 1 cup Medjool dates, pitted & halved
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a food processor, place cashews and pulse into fine pieces. Add protein powder, Collagen9, sea salt; pulse until combined.
  2. Add dates, honey and oil; process until combined and sticky. Add a tad amount of water if needed to pull together for rolling. 
  3. ENJOY
