My 5 Day Core Challenge & Benefits of a Strong Core

·

·

You know core exercises are good for you — but do you include core exercises in your fitness routine?

Get ready for 5 fun days of core work!

When I say your fitness routine, I am NOT suggesting you rock out 10 minutes of core work every single day. Do you know just 3 minutes a day can change your life as you age?

This past week on Instagram I demonstrated 3 core moves every day for 5 days and encouraged others to join me. Seriously friends, you don’t need a ton of time to work your core efficiently. In fact all the moves can be done anytime and anywhere so NO excuses.

I’ll be sharing some of my faves…including this one👆🏻

Below are all 5 days. I have linked the video description in case you need a demonstration of the moves. HAVE FUN!

Day 3 through 5 are slow getting more difficult with the most challenging on Day #5.

Here is the sit through below….

Another of my faves

What a STRONG core will do for you:

  • 💪 one of the top benefits is injury prevention
  • 💪 Strong core = Strong back
  • 💪 Improved balance & stability so you’re less likely to slip on the ice 🧊. You’ll have better balance on stairs, and even getting dressed is easier with a strong core!
  • 💪 Better posture so you’ll breathe better since your lungs have more room to expand. This is why all athletes need a strong core, especially runners.

If you have a strong core, you’re every day activities such as the ones I’ve listed below ⬇️ will be easier!

  • 👉🏽 getting a class down from the top shelf
  • 👉🏽 bending down to tie your shoes 👟
  • 👉🏽 getting up off the floor

A STRONG core is everything. Tell me in the comments below if you tried any of these moves and which day was your favorite!

How often do you work your core?
